SERIES CANCELLED: In Depth With Substance Use and Families: An ECHO Model Online Community (11/13/18-12/18/18, 3-4 PM MT, meets weekly)
From Paraphernalia to Parental Capacity—Take your substance-use knowledge to the next level
Are you comfortable identifying if a person is under the influence?
Can you explain with confidence what a drug test reveals—and the complications of interpreting test results?
How do you know if a family is accessing the right level of treatment at the right time?
Join the ECHO series In Depth with Substance Use and Families: An ECHO Model Online Community to explore these topics and advance your understanding of how substance use in a family intersects with child welfare practice.
The breadth of topics ranges from distinguishing fact from myth when it comes to medication-assisted treatment to assessing and ensuring parental capacity at the various decision points in a child welfare case. You’ll leave the series connected with experts in the field—and your peers—and you’ll feel more confident engaging with families when substance use is involved.
Learners receive 6 training credit hours for completing this learning experience.
